Led by innovation
In 2015, we filed a patent for our innovative data capture invention for processing sales orders, a technology that is still un-matched to this day. Not everything we did was a commercial success, but what we learned was invaluable as we strived to reach an unprecedented level of process automation.
The beginning
Portalink was launched in 2015 with a mission to eliminate wasteful data entry by streamlining purchase order processing. We wanted to be different from other software companies with a can-do attitude, transparent pricing, and great customer service.
Continuous improvement
Early adopters of our Portalink™AnyOrder technology, including companies like Bunzl, Rhino-Rack, McCain Foods, Ampol and Legrand, who continue to benefit from Portalink™AnyOrder to this day and have seen the product evolve from good to great.
Invoice Automation for AP
2019 Portalink launched its AnyInvoice product with Bidfood. Portalink has automated over 1,000 Bidfood Suppliers and processes between 20k and 30k invoices per month with more than 90% Zero-Touch.
B2B Supplier Portal
2019 First introduced by several Universities and a supermarket chain, the Portalink™AnySupplier Portal is a hand-in-glove fit with the Portalink™AnyInvoice system. Industry leaders such as Santos, Galipo Foods and Redarc have chosen Portalink™AnySupplier over long established products such as Coupa and Ariba.
Earning credibility
2020 two internationally significant companies, Schneider Electric and Saint-Gobain, made global commitments to implement Portalink to process sales orders. Within two years Portalink completed the rollouts to more than 50 countries around the world, automating thousands of trading partners and millions of transactions. The combined annual revenues of Schneider Electric and Saint-Gobain exceeds $89bil.
Accelerating performance
2021 Portalink, in partnership with AWS, begins to migrate to modern serverless framework, eliminating technical debt, accelerating performance and achieving unlimited scalability. Portalink’s modern architecture enables quicker implementations and greater success for our customers.
AnyFreight
2022 Saint-Gobain engaged Portalink with a challenge to automate reconciliation of millions of complex freight consignments on invoices provided by dozens of freight providers. Our Portalink™AnyFreight product has become a unique and powerful tool for corporate governance, eliminating duplicate or incorrect charges and accelerating payment authorization and processing.
Waterfall effect
2023/2024 Ecolab USA chose Portalink over an incumbent system for global expansion of sales order automation (and freight audit-to-pay). Within 4 months, Portalink mapped and automated 20 times more trading partners than the previous provider automated in 4 years. With annual revenue exceeding $15bil, Ecolab is a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions.

2024 Portalink’s already best-in-class template mapping capability is accelerated x10 as a result of an innovative use of AI.

Portalink adheres to ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR standards, implementing best-practice technical controls across critical compliance areas such as IAM, logging, alerting, network security, databases, vulnerability management, and data encryption (both at rest and in transit).
We leverage external auditors and third-party applications to ensure continuous compliance through real-time autoremediation, automatically correcting any deviations from best practices or compliance standards, including GDPR requirements for data privacy and protection.
